Incomprehensible

It was something my mind could barely comprehend...

It flowed smoothly like running water, yet it had the strength of a fierce storm. It soothed, it consoled, and it was warm and comforting as a mother’s hug. At the same time, it burnt like scalding flames and stung like poison. It could fill the air with a presence that threatened your life, and yet it could whisper in the quiet hours of the morning. It held the power of life and death. It scorched my conscience, healed my pain, and filled me with indescribable, incomprehensible joy.

It was His voice.

  2. I enjoyed this one, and am pondering the Scriptural basis for each description. Good work.

  3. Thankyou Gabriel, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

That is a good point; I think I may search my Bible and see if I can find Scriptures that correspond with each one. Thanks for the idea. :)

  4. Amazing. I love creative writing that attempts to capture the feelings Christians experience during their walk with God, so I really enjoyed this. :)

  8. Thanks, I'm honored to visit it :)

I dunno what's with Google, seriously. It works fine on blogs like Gabriel's, but here and on Rebekah S.'s blog, it won't let me sign in. Urgh.

  9. Strange... another friend of mine has trouble leaving comments here too, so that's weird. I'm glad you signed your name though!
