Scripture Studies : Healing

I'm not sure what to write in proceeding for this post. This could be a topic for division of opinions, however the Lord put it on my heart to write and share, so this is what I did. I will let the Scriptures speak for themselves.

“Because you have done this... and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying ‘You shall not eat of it’...” (Gen 3:14&17)

Cursed...” (Gen 3:17b)

“If you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you...” (Deut 28:15)

“...great and prolonged plagues – and serious and prolonged sicknesses.
“Moreover He will bring back on you all the diseases of Egypt, of which you were afraid, and they shall cling to you.

Also every sickness and every plague, which is not written in the Book of the Law, will the Lord bring upon you until you are destroyed.” (Deut 28:60-61)

“He sent his word, and healed them.” (Psalm 107:30)

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:1)

“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us.” (John 1:14)

“My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.

For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.” (Prov 4:20-22)

“ Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” (Prov 18:21)

“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” (Mark 11:23)

“Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are* healed.” (Isaiah 53:4-5) *OT, present tense.

"Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness- by whose stripes you were* healed." (1 Peter 2:24) *NT, past tense.

“The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed... And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.” (Mat 8:8&13)

“It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” (John 6:63)

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life and life more abundantly.” (John 3:16)

“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Heb 4:12)

“Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us.” (Gal 3:13)

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” (Eph 3:20)
